No matter who you hire as your wedding photographer Most great wedding photographers charge more NOT because their ego tells them their worth it (and they are!) but because proper preparation takes extra time; having the best back gear and add'l assistants, using the best custom photo labs for processing and custom printing, master retouching and color enhancement, and providing the best, most beautiful albums cost time and money. Period. Anyone charging less has GOT to be is cutting corners someplace to survive. There is just no way around it. "You get what you pay for" is really true in this business. As glamorous as it may "look" shooting a wedding takes a lot of mental creative, physical, psychological and emotional energy to be a part of such an incredible event. Her assistants mainly provide support with equipment and logistics handling her multiple cameras, flashes & lenses. They are always prepared with extra batteries, film and digital cards to insure a shot is never missed!!
* Locations are previewed in advance and storyboard sketches are made to accompany a detailed photo time line for the day's event.
* For technical reassurance Elizabeth works primarily with FILM cameras. Digital cameras are only used during certain situations. However digital files can be created from negatives to have the best of both world! Her personal stamp is on every photo!
